Business Development Officer (Springfield, IL)
The Springfield Sangamon Growth Alliance (SSGA) is seeking a Business Development Officer to support its mission of growing the economy of Springfield and Sangamon County, Illinois. The candidate should have a background in economic, community, or business development. They must be detail-oriented, possess excellent organization and time management skills, and exhibit a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality. The individual will join a small professional group at the SSGA, so it is critical to exhibit a willingness to work as part of a team to accomplish the overall mission and goal. The selected candidate will represent the SSGA and its investors at a number of meetings, forums, and other professional situations therefore, strong communication skills are a must.
Qualified candidates will have previous experience in economic, community, and business development and a degree from a four-year college or university. Please review the full position profile (PDF).
